The Oracle: Ritual for the Future (Experiment #3) became a huge success at Ars Electronica 2025. Waiting lines for our 15 performances were huge and overwhelming, and some even came to the Netherlands FilmFestival two weeks later to finally fetch a spot. But the success for us was of course not in the quantity, but in how audiences came up to us with their personal stories, how they were touched, and most intriguingly, how they changed their minds during the performance about the questions we asked them in during the onboarding ritual. It has been an honor to notice that people really dare to open their minds and hearts in this experience, that they felt safe and provoked at the same time, to wonder, reflect and even change their mind about the topics in the piece. That feels to us a true compliment.
